I love to write short stories based on the Bible. I'm a strong believer in the power of a story to change your life! I'm happy to share them with you, and I hope they encourage and uplift you. In my book 'As the Stars: 45 Bible Fiction Short Stories', I explore the lives of biblical men and women and find encouragement in their stories.

My novel, 'Dividing Sword' follows fictional characters and their struggles of encountering Christ. It was a huge challenge to write, but the rewards were just as great.

Like most anyone who prepares a story or a lesson from the Bible, the one preparing gets the lion's share of the benefit. We put in hours of research and meditation on the story to try to hear what's being said, just to offer you minutes of curated material.

Even the basic process of writing it down helps commit the story to memory. Something about it opening up pathways of memory in the brain.

Writing short stories based on the Bible has been a fresh and invigorating way to study scripture. I have so much fun while I learn! So much fun in fact that . . .
